The DfX Cost Leader for Electronics will work in the electronics cluster in the D&E sector. You will be part of the DUV Electronics department and setup a way of working for driving down cost of the electronics parts. You will start DUV with the aim to role this out over other Departments. In this role you will initiate, organize and drive DfX projects.

Role and Responsibilities

The DfX Cost Leader for Electronics will:

Initiate, organize and drive DfX projects and drive the generated ideas to conclusion.

Create a framework and way of working to drive down cost in the electronics cluster.

Connect to relevant stakeholders like the program, manufacturing and quality to help removing roadblocks and be well aligned on activities.

Education and experience

For this position we prefer to select a candidate that has

A Master or Bachelor+ in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar.

Minimum 10 years’ working experience in product development or related Departments .

Experience in the DfX methodoly and value engineering

Min. 5 years of experience inn project management

Min. 2 years of experience in driving cost down activities with proven results

Other information

The electrical development cluster is responsible for the specification, creation, qualification and integration of all electronic functions and modules within the ASML Machines

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
