Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Regular provision of information about the installed/used software on all assets (client, server, host, etc.)
- Understanding of scripting and XML
- Import Devices data with all necessary information
- Preparing Entitlement and Deployment reports for clients
- Should have good understanding of how Infrastructure of the Tool solution works (Database – SQL Server & Oracle, Servers, etc.)
- T/S on Agent inventory and data source connections
- Installing Snow Agents on Windows and UNIX Servers (its flavors)
- Upgrading Snow Tool
- Validate the data coming in Snow from different data sources and take necessary action to fix it in case of any discrepancy.
- Configure scheduled jobs/CRON Jobs
- Able to create signature/recognition rules
- Create custom license metrics based on the software licensing model
- Comprehend and interpret complex software licensing agreements and maintenance contracts
- Assisting in Software Asset Management (SAM) audits
- Able to download the latest version of Tool Catalog and update it in the environments
Skill Profile:
ITIL Foundation is preferred
Working knowledge of a SAM Tool (Snow Software)
Working knowledge on SQL DB and query.
