About your role


The Security manager ensures that ReBound and its logistics partners meet security and quality standards with the products ReBound offers. By developing and maintaining specific rules, you help prevent incidents and ensure ReBound to be compliant with client requirements and government regulations.


As it stands, the most important part of the role focuses on security topics. This will develop into the areas of Safety and Quality. This will be decided in collaboration with your line manager.

Preventative policy development:


  • You are the domain expertise lead on the topic of risk management. You drive consistency, share best practices, and become the leader within the organization through knowledge, experience, and innovation.


  • You ensure that ReBound and its logistics (warehousing and transportation) partners operate a qualitative and secure network, according to world class standards.


  • You develop standards and drive programs to implement these standards in close collaboration with your colleagues in Operations.


  • You conduct (pre) implementation assessments on new sites, partners and clients.


  • You monitor compliance through audits, measure and report results / KPI's, and drive a proactive continuous improvement plan with regards to security.


  • You work with our Clients / Retailers to ensure alignment with their security and quality requirements, contractual obligations and adoption.


  • You have a consistent focus on managing risks. You develop a view on how to manage our (financial) exposure, eventually work with insurance companies to establish the right insurance cover.


  • You are responsible for achieving and maintaining relevant certifications.


  • You ensure active and complete participation in organization projects. Participate in training, education, and testing at user acceptance, identify and provide feedback to product owners track leads, challenges, and areas of concern prior to go live.


  • You ensure all relevant colleagues are aware of the security standards and policies, and take ownership of establishing widespread awareness of security.



Responsive solutioning:


  • Review findings from internal or external audits, scope plans and drive actions to completion. Initiate and follow up on Corrective Action Plans.


  • Incident management: You take the lead in case of Incidents, work with your colleagues and logistics partners to manage damage control, and manage each incident from end-to-end, including claims processing.


  • You are the point person and expertise lead in handling claims from our Clients and filing claims towards our service providers.


What we would like you to have:


  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within an international environment, or an obtained qualification from a security education.


  • Familiar with achieving ISO standards for transportation (ISO 9001), TAPA (preferred), familiar with FENEX and CMR.


  • Demonstrated work experience in managing complex security environments.


  • Knowledge and or work experience with commercial contracting / legal affairs / litigation preferred.


  • Working knowledge of logistics processes and overall Supply chain.


  • Good analytical skills with ability to complete network data interpretation and identify KPI trends. You can develop and report on KPI’s. Comfortable with delivering and presenting Executive management reporting.
