Wij (Datalab) zorgen er voor dat bedrijven in staat zijn om waarde te halen uit hun data. Denk aan een retailer die inzicht krijgt in marges en voorraden, een accountant die op tijd signalen vanuit de boekhoudgegevens ontvangt, of een zaadveredelaar die ai wil inzetten om voedselkwaliteit te verbeteren. We ontwikkelen hiervoor allerlei softwarematige tools die er voor zorgen dat het peuleschil wordt voor onze klanten om inzichten uit hun data te halen en zo beslissingen te onderbouwen met cijfers in plaats van enkel de onderbuik.


Datalab is een jonge organisatie (5 jaar oud) met een enthousiast en toegewijd team van zo’n 15 mensen, met een goede balans in leeftijd, gender en dergelijke.


Wat je gaat doen:

Je taken beslaan deze drie zaken:

  • Het ontwikkelen van dashboards, (data)modellen, datasets (50% van je tijd)
  • Het ondersteunen van klanten in het creatieve proces van het ontwikkelen van dataproducten (30% van je tijd)
  • Het verlenen van ondersteuning bij vragen van klanten (20% van je tijd)


Ontwikkelen dashboards, modellen, datasets: Klanten van Datalab krijgen een volwaardig functionerend data warehouse. Als BI'er is het jouw taak om de data in dat datawarehouse om te zetten naar nuttige rapportages waar de klant écht wat aan heeft. Voor klanten die net beginnen zullen je werkzaamheden ook begeleidend van aard zijn (zie hieronder bij 'creatief proces'); voor gevorderde klanten kun je ook complexre analyses oppakken (forecasting, modelmatig werken in bijvoorbeeld R, en dergelijke).


Ondersteunen bij creatieve proces: Klanten weten vaak niet goed wat ze nodig hebben, tot jij laat zien wat er allemaal mogelijk is. Het actief meedenken van klanten -bijvoorbeeld door inspiratiesessies te organiseren, schetsen te maken, en dergelijke- is een belangrijk onderdeel van je werk. Hier kun je je analytische kant goed combineren met je creatieve kant. Essentieel is de communicatie met de klant: je neemt de moeite om de wensen van de klant echt goed te doorgronden.


Support: Nadat klanten hun producten opgeleverd krijgen, ontstaan er vanzelf vragen over het gebruik of onderstaan er storingen. Jouw skills als probleemoplosser komen hierbij goed van pas.


We bieden:

Een salaris (bij 40u) van € 3.091,60 (startende medior) tot € 5.586,12 (zeer ervaren senior); inschaling op basis van aantoonbare eerdere ervaring. We hebben een gunstige bonusregeling (tot een volledig maandsalaris extra). Daarnaast natuurlijk goede secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden zoals gratis lunch op kantoor, een fijne werkplek met leuke collega’s en een ontspannen werksfeer. Overige zaken die je nodig hebt zijn bespreekbaar.


De functie betreft 32 tot 40u per week.

  • Minimaal hbo werk- en denkniveau
  • Ruime aantoonbare ervaring met SQL, Power BI (en/of dergelijke)
  • Analytische én creatieve persoonlijkheid
  • Aanpakkers- en doorzettersmentaliteit
