We have a fantastic position for a Breakfast Chef in our Italian restaurant, Restaurante51 at Courtyard Amsterdam Arena Atlas.


As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring that breakfast and the buffet are prepared and presented to a high quality to deliver an excellent Guest experience. You’ll be reliable, be creative and have a passion for creating profitable and exciting specials, you will be flexible, adaptable – hardworking.

You will be working closely with our team of chefs to ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the standards.

We encourage you to bring your own unique personality to the role and being yourself whilst working as part of the kitchen team as we believe it is our personality, style, and friendliness.


Responsibilities

  • Preparation of dishes in alliance with set procedures and recipes
  • Team player with your kitchen & restaurant colleagues
  • Reviewing and stocking of ingredients and deliveries to make sure all products are top-notch
  • Preparation of the breakfast and (staff) lunch for the next day
  • Monitoring waste and portion
  • Be a helping hand and creative brain for the Head Chef
  • Up to date regarding all hygienic rules, safety rules and all HACCP regulations


Our ideal candidate

  • Is flexible and creative
  • Has a real passion for food
  • Has team spirit
  • Has a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Has experience working in fast paced and high-volume restaurant in a similar position
  • Speaks English
  • Is adaptive to every situation in hospitality
  • Is well organized, clean chef and resistant to stress
