Functieomschrijving

Bij OVSoftware hebben we onze dienstverlening uitgebreid en zoeken hiervoor nieuwe collega’s. Wij leggen hierbij de focus op kwaliteit (inclusief security) van software. In jouw rol als Software Engineer bewaak je de kwaliteit van de software, verbeter je bestaande applicaties en bouw je aan nieuwe features op basis van jouw adviezen.

Het team, bestaat uit vier engineers en is verantwoordelijk voor de softwareomgeving van onze klanten. Het team beheert software in de volgende talen; C#, Java, Python, PHP. Je werkt planmatig aan het onderhoud, ondersteund klanten, en garandeert dat alle software voldoet aan de kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen.

Ook ben je in staat om software op meerdere aspecten te doorgronden, hierbij maak je gebruik van de door onszelf ontwikkelde X-RAY proces, tools en methode die wij hanteren bij bestaande software om de kwaliteit te beoordelen. In dit proces duik je diep in de code en analyseer je diverse aspecten voordat de software in beheer kan worden genomen.

Bij deze functie is het van belang dat je efficiënt en nauwkeurig werkt. Daarnaast heb je contact met de klant en overleg je veel met het team. Je bent voor onze klanten de Adviseur, Consultant en Software Engineer in één. Het is belangrijk dat je een goed begrip hebt (of krijgt) van Continuous integration en Continuous Delivery en dat je instaat bent om onderscheid te maken tussen correctief, perfectief, preventief en predicatief onderhoud.

Wij vragen

Dit ben jij:

  • Een ervaren software engineer met tenminste 3-5 jaar werkervaring.
  • HBO-/WO afgestudeerd in de richting van ICT
  • Iemand met analytische en oplossingsgerichte denkwijze
  • Iemand die de Nederlandse taal beheerst
  • Iemand die beschikt over een rijbewijs B
  • Cloud (Azure) kennis is een pré.
  • Hebt kennis van diverse frameworks zowel front-end als backend
