Gevestigd aan de Keizersgracht, in het hart van de negen straatjes bevindt zich het best bewaarde geheim van Amsterdam: The Dylan Amsterdam. Een 5-sterren boutique hotel waarbij het draait om oprechte en persoonlijke service en waar we onvergetelijke ervaringen willen creëren voor onze gasten. Een historische omgeving met 41 individueel ontworpen hotelkamers, 4 ruimtes voor evenementen, Bar Brasserie OCCO, Chefs Table até, en het met twee Michelin sterren bekroonde Restaurant Vinkeles.


Als Sales & Marketing Manager ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor alle omzet verhogende commerciële activiteiten en de wereldwijde positionering van zowel hotel als de restaurants. In deze functie ligt de nadruk op (online) marketing. Je werkt hierin nauw samen met je mede Sales & Marketing Manager, die de nadruk heeft op Sales, en de rest van het commerciële team en rapporteert direct aan de Hotel Manager.


Taken Marketing & PR:

  • Het vergroten van de zichtbaarheid en naamsbekendheid van The Dylan;
  • Medeverantwoordelijkheid over het strategisch bepalen, bereiken en aanspreken van de juiste doelgroepen in verschillende stadia van de marketing funnel;
  • Het aangaan van lokale en internationale partnerships;
  • Initiëren, lanceren en evalueren van creatieve nieuwe marketing projecten en campagnes;
  • Onderhouden van nauw contact met het externe marketingbureau;
  • Waken voor kwaliteit, juiste branding en ‘tone of voice’ in alle communicatie inclusief social media en e-mail marketing campagnes;
  • Contact onderhouden met lokale en internationale persrelaties.

Taken Sales:

  • The Dylan Amsterdam vertegenwoordigen tijdens Sales activiteiten, waaronder (inter)nationale sales trips;
  • Vergroten van het marktaandeel in de markten waar jij verantwoordelijk voor bent;
  • Benaderen en bezoeken van (potentiële) relaties;
  • Ontvangen van relaties, organiseren van client events en verzorgen van rondleidingen in het hotel;
  • Afsluiten van corporate contracten;
  • Waarborgen van een goede CRM voor een optimale commerciële binding met relaties;
  • Dagelijks aansturen van de Sales Stagiaire.




Herken jij jezelf in onderstaande punten?

  • Je bent afgestuurd aan de Hogere Hotelschool of een andere relevante opleiding.
  • HBO werk/denk niveau.
  • 2 – 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een soortgelijk hotel. Ervaring in marketing is hierbij cruciaal.
  • Je werkt goed in een team en kan collega’s binnen en buiten de Sales & Marketing afdeling enthousiasmeren voor je ideeen.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met ontwikkelingen in het digitale landschap.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse en Engelse taal is een vereiste.
  • Je hebt kennis van Microsoft Office programma’s.
  • Je kunt goed plannen en houdt van een strakke agenda om zo je tijd optimaal te benutten.
  • Kennis van Google Analytics, Digital Ads, WordPress en Adobe Creative Cloud zijn een pre.
  • Je bent beschikbaar om of en toe te reizen binnen en buiten Europa.
