Voor Beauty Co-Lab – het label binnen OMG volledig gericht op het servicen van L'Oréal in de Benelux – zijn we op zoek naar een Communications Director. We zoeken een professional met ervaring op het gebied van (digitale) marketingcommunicatie en/of data- & insights gedreven media-advies.


Als Communications Director weet je precies wat er in de markt van jouw klant(en) speelt, ben je op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen in media, data en technology en kom je met verfrissende data gedreven insights en ideeën om echt het verschil te maken. Dit doe je door zowel de klant als je team mee te nemen in het proces en beoogd resultaat. Jij brengt daarbij flexibiliteit en snelheid, alsmede ervaring en expertise mee. Uiteraard verlies je het commerciële belang van OMD niet uit het oog en weet jij je team te motiveren dit alles om te zetten in echt resultaat. Je viert successen samen en neemt je verantwoordelijkheid als er iets misgaat.

Kortom, in deze rol ben je een gedreven inspirerende leider voor het team en hands-on business partner die onze klanten voorop laat lopen.


Jouw waarde als Communications Director

De Communications Director is werkzaam binnen Beauty Co-Lab en werk je in het team van de Benelux Brand Lead. Jij bent meewerkend voorman (of -vrouw) binnen het klantenteam met Communications Consultants en specialisten aan je zijde. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het leveren van kwalitatief hoogstaande en innovatieve media, communicatie en marketing-oplossingen en -adviezen voor de klant. Jij bent een business partner die met je team zorgt voor ‘flawless execution’ in de projecten van vandaag, maar die ook de lijnen uitzet voor morgen. Daarbij draag je zorg voor het onderhouden, ontwikkelen en uitbreiden van de bestaande dienstverlening en levert jouw team consistent resultaat aan de verschillende belanghebbenden.


Vanzelfsprekend zul je ook actief betrokken worden bij new business projecten en pitches bij bestaande en nieuwe klanten. Op het gebied van media maar ook data analytics, KPI measurement, branded content, research en business consultancy vraagstukken. Hier draai jij je hand dan ook niet voor om en je hebt een trackrecord om dit te onderbouwen.


Wat neem je mee?

  • Je hebt, een afgeronde HBO of WO-opleiding, bij voorkeur richting Marketing, Communicatie of Commerciële economie;
  • Je hebt 8 jaar aantoonbare relevante werkervaring op het gebied van (Digital) marketingcommunicatie en/of media-advies;
  • Je hebt ervaring met functioneel leidinggeven binnen een digitaal-, marketing en/of mediabureau of aan adverteerderszijde;
  • Je hebt bewezen ervaring in het creëren van een zelfsturend team dat continue op zoek is naar verbeteringen, realisatie en optimalisatie;
  • Je hebt kennis van en affiniteit met de laatste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van digital, data en technologie;
  • Jij bent ambitieus, hebt commercieel inzicht en bent resultaat gedreven;
  • Je bent in staat complexe vraagstukken om te zetten in concreet en resultaatgericht advies;
  • Je hebt een natuurlijke positieve energie waarmee je anderen inspireert en motiveert om het beste resultaat te behalen;
  • Je kunt goed luisteren en stelt de juiste vragen;
  • Je bent een goede spreker met een gezonde dosis overtuigingskracht;
  • Je bent flexibel, hands-on en staat open voor feedback;
  • Last but not least: de beauty branch laat jouw hart sneller kloppen
