Start your career as an Electrical Engineer at Getinge Applikon

As an Electrical Engineer (Custom Projects) at Getinge Applikon, you will be responsible for designing and developing electro(tech)nical solutions for high-tech bioreactor systems. You will work within the Custom Projects department and report to the Team Lead Electrical Engineering.

Your main tasks include developing complex electro(tech)nical designs, supporting project calculations, and drafting specification documents. You will collaborate closely with various disciplines within the project team to achieve optimal results.

Additionally, you will oversee customer-specific projects on-site and resolve more complex issues (2nd line support).

Your responsibilities:

  • Conceptually developing complex electro(tech)nical designs.
  • Advising on and co-drafting specification documents for new and existing products.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders within the project team (mechanical, electrical, software, production, procurement).
  • Developing electrical design packages, including construction drawings, bills of materials, and inspection protocols.
  • Building functional models and test environments for design validation.
  • Ensuring the electrical design package is secured on the network.
  • Providing technical specifications for quotation requests.
  • Actively contributing to the development and application of quality procedures and guidelines.

Knowelegde, skills and abilities

  • University (WO) or Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of cGMP/FDA guidelines and European standards.
  • Experience with CAD design software.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Accurate, independent, and a team player.
