Voor de controle van de jaarrekening voeren wij financial audits uit. Dit betreft o.a. de processen inkoop/aanbesteding, subsidies, Wmo, Participatie, diverse opbrengstenstromen en de balansposities. De uit te voeren audits vormen de basis voor de rechtmatigheidsverantwoording van het college én de accountantscontrole. Wij stellen dan ook hoge eisen aan de uitvoering van financials audits en de eigen oordeelsvorming. Dat reikt verder dan alleen signaleren en rapporteren. Op basis van bevindingen willen we de organisatie ook in staat stellen tussentijds te kunnen bijsturen op de kwaliteit van processen of het herstel van (dreigende) onrechtmatigheden.
Als Senior Auditor:
- Maak je deel uit van de afdeling Concerncontrol, Team Audit.
- Voer je zelfstandig audits uit op processen en systemen ter ondersteuning van inkoop/aanbesteding, opbrengstenstromen en balansposten. Daarbij vorm je een oordeel over de mate van beheersing en de getrouwheid/rechtmatigheid van de kosten en opbrengsten.
- Lever je een bijdrage aan de noodzakelijke procesverbeteringen binnen de organisatie. Daartoe ben je in staat op grond van je ervaring en (specifieke) expertise.
- Ben je volwaardig gesprekspartner voor management, directie en accountant.
- Lever je een actieve bijdrage aan de continue verbetering en professionalisering van Team Audit.
- Je hebt een afgeronde academische opleiding bedrijfseconomie of accountancy. Bij voorkeur aangevuld met een postmaster in IT-, operational of financial auditing.
- Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als auditor of accountant, meer ervaring is pre;
- Ervaring binnen een gemeente is pre.
Je beschikt over een afgeronde opleiding Accountancy of bedrijfseconomie, bij voorkeur aangevuld met een postmaster in IT- , operational of financial auditing. Je hebt ruime ervaring als auditor of accountant. Je beschikt over (actuele) ervaring bij gemeenten. Als persoon ben je communicatief vaardig, sta je stevig als adviseur, kun je een brug slaan tussen audit en de organisatie, heb je tact en overtuigingskracht. Je bent natuurlijk gericht op resultaat en samenwerking. Je bent zelfstandig en weet snel een weg te vinden in het uitvoeren van audits.

En moeten, omdat we dagelijks middelen besteden die niet van onszelf zijn en waarover we goed verantwoording aan burgers, gemeentebestuur, provincie en rijk afleggen. Zo dragen we bij aan transparant bestuur.
