JOB MISSION:

We are seeking a Web Analyst to join our EMEA Direct to Consumer organization, headquartered in Amsterdam. As a Web Analyst, you will handle all digital analytics and help generate insights on our customer's behavior within the website. In partnership with the Analytics team, you will build the basics and further scale the measurement datasets to turn them into actionable insights. You will be responsible for the metrics such as Conversion rate, Funnel forward rates, and Site behavior and ensure accessible insights for the e-commerce team, proactively monitor this for outliers, and give recommendations.

Collaborating with the Customer Experience Manager with three other peers, the role will be responsible for championing the site data by putting a class tracking process in place and proactively pulling insights from GA4, Content Square, and other data sources. As a Web Analyst, you will collaborate with Consumer Insights & Analytics, E-commerce Trading, Digital Marketing, CRM, IT, and Global Technology teams and will have a strong influence on their roadmaps.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Understand web tracking schema, and have solid experience with event and attribute level datasets and tracking methodologies.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of website performance, user behavior, and conversion rates to uncover actionable insights, and own metrics such as Page Views, Bounce, Add to Bag, Click Through Rate, and Conversion.
  • Provide insights into customer acquisition and reactivation, looking for improvement opportunities to optimize marketing campaigns, channel targeting, efficiency, etc.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of traffic, channel split, and the conversion funnel to make recommendations and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Apply statistical methodologies and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and derive significant insights to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to collaborators.
  • Extract quantitative data from GA4 to drive high-quality insights for AB testing and optimization.
  • Take an active role in identifying potential new ways to collect and analyze data that help deliver more effective marketing programs.
  • Management of the EMEA data layer including tagging and tracking.
  • Investigate irregularities in the conversion funnel to identify root causes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Several years of experience in an analytical role, handling website and marketing performance data, with a solid understanding of the site, digital marketing, and customer acquisition landscape.
  • Hands-on experience with GA360, GA4, Tealium Tag Manager (or Google Tag Manager) and BigQuery.
  • An awareness of MMM and LTV and other incremental measure tooling and how they influence digital marketing decision-making.
  • Expertise in using, maintaining, and debugging issues with measurement tools like Google Analytics and Content Square.
  • A proactive, data-driven, and logical approach with the ability for end-to-end ownership.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Looker and PowerBI.
  • A natural collaborator with superb communication skills.
  • Strong planning, research, and organization skills, with the ability to summarize large amounts of content into important key findings.
  • Enthusiasm for process mapping and improvement; ability to evolve thinking past the current state.
  • Passion for the industry is welcome, but more importantly an obsession with data analytics is desired.
