We are searching for a motivated final year HBO/WO Biology or Medical Laboratory Research student. Welcome to our Team
The Integrated Process Team (IPT) Live Vaccines is involved in formulating, filling, and freeze-drying live (sterile) vaccines. This is done according to strict safety and quality standards. Within our IPT, there are 2 production departments. There are about 220 employees in our IPT and more than 20 different vaccines are formulated, filled, and freeze-dried.

The Improvement Live department is a crucial hub in our organization. This department focuses on supporting the IPT Live production departments. The team consists of 13 employees, all possessing extensive knowledge and experience in improving production processes and coordinating production transfers from R&D to production. The team collaborates closely with other departments within the company to achieve the set goals.

Your Internship Assignment
As an intern, you will be responsible for establishing a trending program to monitor critical parameters in the production processes and test results of the produced vaccines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take on and fulfill a project management role
  • Analyze and monitor data
  • Investigate deviations in the production process or lab results
  • Write reports
  • Provide a fresh perspective on the department by sharing your insights

The described tasks constitute the basic package and after a good induction and learning period, they will often be carried out independently. On your own initiative or at the request of the organization, these tasks can be supplemented with other projects and/or duties.

What is Required

  • Final year HBO/WO Biology or Medical Laboratory Research or related field
  • Familiarity with statistics and the ability to apply it
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Available for a period of at least 6 months for 4 or 5 days per week
