Role and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Gathering data / combining various sources of data and presenting them in understandable manner
- Presenting data to various level of managers which enables the drill down of information
- Translating business needs into financial / managerial reporting
- Monthly operational review and reporting
- Ensuring business compliance to financial regulations and rules
- Cooperating with various teams to achieve short/long term goals
- Translating data into actionable information
- Pro-actively identifying opportunities to automate the reporting and forecasting processes using best practices in the market
- Providing proactive support and input on information requests
- Continuously improving our reporting landscape, enabling accessible and reliable insights requiring minimal manual input.
Education and experience
Master degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics or Business Administration/intelligence, combined with some finance/accounting knowledge.
You have 5+ years relevant experience in business analytics. You are an experienced user in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Next, you have worked with reporting solutions (ASML is using Spotfire, experience with i.e. PowerBI/Tableau is comparable) and understand the main data modeling principles.

BedrijfsinformatieASML is a Dutch high-tech company and one of the main suppliers of machines for the semiconductor industry, in particular steppers and scanners, which are used in chip making. Customers are often chip manufacturers. ASML's head office and business complex is in Veldhoven, where research and development and assembly take place in cleanrooms. The company also has sixty service points in fourteen countries to support the installation and delivery of machines and spare parts.
ASML was created from a joint venture between ASM International and Royal Philips. ASML delivers worldwide, but most of its customers are located in Asia. In 2011, 66% of sales were achieved in that region, 25% in the United States and just under 9% in Europe. The largest customer was responsible for a quarter of the total turnover. ASML's main supplier is Zeiss, a manufacturer of lenses and optical components. Zeiss's share in ASML's total purchasing costs is just under 30%.
