Job SummaryNetApp leads the way in Hybrid Cloud Data Services, empowering customers to leverage the best of both worlds: Private and Public Clouds. Our mission is to ensure that customer data is always accessible, always available, and easily manageable. To help customers modernize their IT and provide a seamless Hybrid Multicloud experience, we are seeking a Presales System Engineer. This individual will offer technical expertise in storing and managing data efficiently across Hybrid cloud environments.
As a Solutions Engineer (SE) within NetApp's Sales team, you will be responsible for delivering pre-sales support to promote NetApp's Products & Services to current and potential customers. Your role will involve leveraging your strong technical skills and relationships to collaborate with vendors, partner ecosystems, and sales teams in order to propose optimal solutions to customers.
The Solutions Engineer should possess a deep understanding of customer operations and act as a consultant to customers by identifying key business challenges and recommending appropriate technology solutions and data management services. Furthermore, the SE will focus on long-term strategies to enhance customer business operations through data management tools and services, continuously adding value to their business. Close collaboration with alliance partners is crucial to provide top-notch joint solutions to customers.
Job Requirements- Specialized knowledge in Hybrid Cloud, Storage, and data management solutions.
- Experience in customer-facing roles that require high engagement.
- Expertise in Technical Pre-Sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal communication and customer service skills to effectively collaborate with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets.
- Skills in account management and project management.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and apply them in a customer-facing setting.
- Adherence to standard engineering principles and practices.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to prospective customer sites as needed.
- Proficiency in Hybrid cloud solutions and possession of Public cloud certifications would be advantageous.
