You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)
  • Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisions
  • Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks
  • Suggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale
  • Follows up the competition's commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brand
  • Plays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targets

Key purpose of the role

In this role you will be responsible for co-creating and implementing the Benelux X-category EB2B- strategy, within MEU/global framework and as part of overall inline brand strategy. Next to wholesalers/retailers, also CPG partnerships and EB2B marketplaces are crucial in our future success towards 2030. Ensure E-com as integral part of account plan and execution with our existing partners (wholesalers and retailers) and drive new business opportunities via CPG partnerships and Eb2B marketplaces. You will also focus on unlocking your e-commerce expertise to the broader commercial organization and further building of e-commerce capabilities / insights.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with the key customers (EB2B wholesalers & Retailers) and establish Mondelēz as a recognized thought leader in digital shopper marketing and online growth partner
  • Expand our coverage and reach by developing and managing sustainable CPG partnerships
  • Implementation of a successful growth strategy at Eb2B market places
  • Implement compelling online growth selling story for all platforms
  • Develop brand growth plans as part of the overall inline brand strategy via execution of digital 5S and our Ecommerce flywheel within Eb2B Wholesalers/Retailers, EB2B marketplaces & CPG partnerships.
  • Visit customers & partners when E-commerce expertise is needed to further drive implementation of our plans and test & learn
  • Right balancing time spend to drive short term and long term success.
  • Drive search optimalisation, digital content and activation/sales conversion, incl analysis
  • Drive category analysis and customer projects
  • KPI management to track results
  • All in order to deliver AC NR and MS growth

Operating environment

You will report to the Business Development Manager Benelux. You will work closely together with:

  • Benelux peers in Category Planning, Marketing and local Sales Teams
  • MEU ecomm team and EB2B peers in other countries
  • Key customers in wholesale & retail environment, EB2B marketplaces, CPG partners

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
