The Fintech Pillar team is responsible for understanding Payment and Financial dynamics and providing our customers, partners, couriers and employees with the best experience. You would also work closely with colleagues in other disciplines so as to ultimately optimize the user experience via a more reliable, faster Finance and Payment experience.
As the Senior Delivery Lead for our Fintech Pillar delivery team, you will steer the strategic and tactical direction for our major initiatives and technology projects. Your responsibilities encompass empowering and guiding our program delivery team, overcoming obstacles, orchestrating large-scale technical initiatives, and overseeing the entire lifecycle and key performance indicators (KPIs) of our technical projects.
Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in stakeholder management, nurturing robust relationships with both stakeholders, cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for large-scale technical projects, supporting and monitoring the development and delivery of program-level targets and milestones.
- Manage and track key risks and priorities, escalating them as necessary.
- Collaborate with wider P&T teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvement and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and partners.
- Define, lead, and support key initiatives across the Programmes department.
- Manage and report key delivery metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Incorporate agile practices to enhance project management flexibility and efficiency.
- Translate metrics, research, and trends into actionable strategies and improvement opportunities and oversee the lifecycle and KPIs of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilise excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Work closely with engineering, analytics, data sciences, and product teams in fast-paced environments.
What will you bring to the table?
- Proven experience in leading large-scale programs and projects with outcome-based results.
- Demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience in leading Agile Project and Program Managers, incorporating agile methodologies into project management processes.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and work with senior leadership up to C Level, stakeholders, and peer groups.
- Resourceful delivery manager capable of quickly taking control of responsibilities and establishing credibility as a strategic partner.
- Highly effective communicator and collaborator, able to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage teams, peers, and management.
- Strong ability to work well across different functions, geographies, and multinational backgrounds.
- Flexibility to travel globally occasionally.
