All About The Role

You will be part of our Global Scoober Operations Data Analytics (SODA) team in Amsterdam. Scoober is the logistics delivery business in JET. Our delivery business plays a critical role in our future growth ambitions to empower every food and convenience moment. We are looking for an expert in applying advanced data analytics skills on solving day to day business problems. You will combine data-driven insights and business knowledge to support logistics operations to grow and continuously optimize the logistic network from all perspectives, such as system configurations, courier recruitment and engagement, forecasting and planning. You will perform analyses and present crystal clear insights to stakeholders, so that your audience can adopt it in their daily work. As such, you will use your superb communication skills in transmitting your passion for data to others

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Assist stakeholders, from frontline to C-level, to solve business problems with comprehensive data analytics solutions;
  • Develop the multivariate analysis and understand the correlation between KPIs;
  • Visualize your findings in Tableau/slides with a storytelling way and promote data driven decisions.
  • Proactively deliver new insights to improve logistics operation for Just Eat Takeaway;
  • Independently lead (strategic) assignments and projects (typically requiring cross-functional teams multiple stakeholders with potentially competing needs, and with impact on the business)
  • Develop guidelines, best practices and drive adoption throughout the data community

Here are the skills we need from our Lead Data analyst:

  • 6+ years working experience in a similar role, familiarity with logistics KPIs is a plus;
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different organizations to shape the work, manage the expectations and deliver initiatives
  • Ability to autonomously and independently develop detailed and complex business analysis solutions Delivering data-driven insights and outcomes clearly and communicating effectively with people of varying levels of data literacy and technical knowledge
  • Confident in extracting and manipulating data from various SQL and NoSQL data stores (e.g. BigQuery) and platforms (Airflow) in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with reporting tool, Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience with multivariate analysis
  • Experience working in agile teams with code reviews and source control is preferred
  • Mentor and inspire other Analysts by leading by example
