WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the EMEA Sr Manager Targeted Communications, you take ownership for leading the EMEA vision and strategy for all our targeted communications, aligned with overall Nike growth strategy. You must have a deep appreciation for digital standard processes, targeted communications & CRM, accept a member-first approach and have strong digital and commercial competence. You are a member of the extended digital marketing leadership team with a collective focus to serve All Athletes* With Their Ultimate Digital Experience of the Best of Nike. You will report into the EMEA Director Lifecycle and Targeted Communications and be based in the European Headquarters in Hilversum.
Further details of what you will be responsible for are:
- Shape a vision for how Nike can better utilize targeted communication to achieve company goals.
- Lead and optimize our communication with EMEA Nike Members, personally and at scale.
- Manage a team to build and deliver best-in-class programming strategy for emails, pushes, and in-app communications in alignment to priorities.
- Elevate the way we communicate to members with relevancy and consistency, inclusive of championing new ways to deliver ambitions.
- Partner cross-functionally (Global, Geo & Territory) to manage the right member-mix between seasonal campaigns & Lifecycle offense and land a one-member view across different communication programs.
- Own critical metrics to measure the success of member communications both at a macro & micro level, improving program experimentation.
- Create the learning agenda, measurement plans, and right share-outs, to unlock our ability to serve every member with more impact.
- Be an agent of change & influence, leading by example a strong x-functional integrated communication approach to balance Brand & Business – from key internal planning gates (CODE) to more in-season trade offenses.
- Input & collaborate with our cross-functional teams to advance our technical capabilities & Digital Marketing Transformation offense from a member-led lens.
- Advocate for Member Communications vision across the organization
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- We are looking for someone to develop and implement successful targeted communications, CRM, and lifecycle marketing strategies
- You will have a proven track record leading sophisticated, multi-layered messaging across parallel campaigns for diverse audiences always driving relevancy for the individual consumer
- You will understand how to communicate to various levels and layers of the organization, tailoring the key messages to meet the audience where they are in terms of expertise. Share & inspire to take key partners on one journey to serve all members.
- With your deep functional expertise in target comms, you will be able to bring knowledge to the organization about how we can evolve in this space
- Track record on unlocking innovative approaches, plans and experiences that lead the way in consumer communication and engagement.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, delivering industry-defining coordinated plans, rallying the team in Global, Geo, Digital Business Team and Marketing teams.
- Analyse & obsess the data we have to make informed data-driven decisions to optimize communication metrics and apply digital standard processes. You will need to build future data competencies within the scope of your role.
