Adevinta is a global online classifieds marketplaces specialist with market-leading positions in our 6 European markets, in which we serve over 90 million unique visitors monthly. For example, within the Netherlands Marktplaats is one of our loved brands.
Our vision is to lead Europe towards circular trade with our Re-Commerce business. As Europe's first choice for responsible and affordable trade we need to complement private supply with relevant professional inventory. As part of Adevinta's Re-Commerce strategy team and reporting to the Head of B2C Strategy, you translate our B2C proposition into coherent offerings to our professional sellers and improve price strategies.

This role is open for our location in Amsterdam. For this role we do require that the new hire is currently a resident in the Netherlands and is entitled to work here.
This is an hybrid job, with on average 2 on-site days. Business travel to one of our offices in Barcelona, Paris, Milan or Berlin is expected every other month.
What you'll do:
Actively drive the creation of Adevinta's Re-Commerce B2C strategy: from understanding problem statements, identifying pragmatic solutions, drawing conclusions and making strong recommendations Translate B2C strategy into coherent offerings for our professional sellers across our local markets Lead development of business cases for these offerings and track performance against, steer to improve Define strategic pricing structure for B2C offerings and initiate new insights to deliver further optimization Work on ad special hoc projects to support decision-making of senior management Who you are: You have an advanced degree, such as a Master's degree or MBA in Business, Economics, Finance or related 5+ years relevant work experience in e.g. pricing, commercial business strategy, consulting Experience in the tech industry (marketplaces, classifieds, software) is preferred You have a track record with outstanding performance, showcasing ownership over your career development Strong analytical (pricing) skills and experience manipulating large datasets, interpreting data trends, and extracting business insights You take care of complexity in multifaceted environments, and are inspired to understand the problem both on conceptual and detailed level Ability to work on projects independently Excellent English language skills, spoken and written-
