Customer Engagement International Lead:
Lead a team strengthening customer relationships in International Markets using design thinking and design strategy.

Your role:

As Customer Engagement International Lead, you will lead a team with expertise in design strategy, customer engagement, and customer experience to build strategic partnerships with customers and accelerate large-deal pull-through. Working together with our commercial and innovation partners, this team brings strategic design competences and a design thinking mindset into the collaborative journey to align and communicate Philips solutions that meet customer needs.

You and your team will design, plan, and lead cross-functional customer engagements using design thinking approaches in partnership with regional leaders, account executives, sales teams, and marketing teams. You will identify and advocate for customer needs using customer feedback and best practices to ensure effective engagement with customers across sales and delivery activities in multiple geographic regions.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've got minimum 10 years of professional experience of experience related to strategic design, design research and customer cocreation preferably in combination with strong business focused role.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience leading and managing designers.
  • Track record in driving design, customer & business strategies, combining deep business knowledge and applying design methods like design thinking and service design.
  • Advanced skills to facilitate executive level stakeholders, customers, and contributors to the engagement with proven experience to drive outcome and impact in strategic dialogues.
  • Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across the Philips value chain and develop strategies for managing change, leveraging influencing skills on themes outside the Design scope e.g., finance, marketing, innovation, operations.
  • Proven ability to analyze unstructured sets of information and synthesize the info to drive clarity and understanding around customer's context and needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and business command of the English and preferably a second (European)language
  • You have a Master degree in Design, Design Research or related discipline, or equivalent professional Design training and experience
