You can take a leading role in the development and continuous improvement of Rabobank's credit risk journey with a focus on client level financial assessment and monitoring- one of the key elements within the credit risk life cycle of Rabobank.

You and your job:

As a Business Expert you are a member of the Financial Assessment Squads within the Area Credit Risk Assessment and Management (CRAM) as part of Tribe CreditCore. You will make the difference by taking responsibility for the entire spectrum of aligning and translating regulatory and business requirements, process and governance aspects as well as implementation support to analyse and the financial spreading, assessment process and enabling business initiatives, including a faster "time to yes" and an improved way of working around the registration and monitoring of covenants. In your role you closely collaborate with your stakeholders within CreditCore and other tribes and departments in Rabobank - both nationally and internationally.

Your work environment within Tribe CreditCore:

Tribe CreditCore delivers centrally managed group functionality such that Business Units can optimally carry out their end-to-end credit process. We monitor quality of data and portfolios providing insight to continuously improve the end-to-end credit process. We increase trust from the regulator and from the public and we achieve uniformity, simplification and efficiency in the Credit Journey within the bank.

Through the creation of a central overview and by accurately monitoring the portfolios we offer actionable data to the group to improve quality of processes and decisions. Our credit risk framework is the foundation for clear and consistent implementations of global standards that adhere to regulation and ensures protection against inadmissible credit risk. The area Credit Risk Assessment and Mitigation (CRAM) consists of 10 squads, organized around our purpose:

• We enable an efficient and compliant assessment of the financial performance and risks of business clients (including ESG risk), by supporting our account managers with the right tooling and insights.
• We define requirements for loss data components to mitigate credit risk Rabobank Group wide to reduce the cost of required capital.
• We support special asset management, by i) guidance on forbearance and ii) tooling for account managers workflow and provisioning iii) to perform a viability & cost benefit analysis of the strategies at hand. We also provide framework/requirements for provisioning, write-offs and default data on financings of clients which are not expected to repay their loan.

As Business Expert:

• You act as a sparring partner and subject matter expert on Financial Assessment and covenant monitoring.
• You understand complex business and policy challenges, identify business/functional user requirements, and recommend how best to support them through processes and systems.
• You are able to lead the analysis process for a specific topic, allowing various stakeholders to work together effectively. One focus area herein is the seamless integration of financial data within the Credit Process (including Cash Flow Analysis) and reducing the overall processing time by achieving more automation.
• You have a keen interest in developing and implementing robust processes, particularly related to financial data and covenants, to enhance the overall internal customer experience and client experience within the bank.
• You are able to translate business requirements into specific (IT) solutions, taking into account the anticipated impact and consequences, business architecture and expected developments.
• You develop and maintain a network of relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• You are a sparring partner for the Product Owner(s), the business and the team members, but also for other business analysts within the area and beyond.
• You inspire, you have an enormous 'drive', you are enthusiastic and like to share your knowledge with your colleagues.
• You are a strong communicator, don't let yourself be fobbed off and keep your back straight.
• You keep track of relevant (internal and external) developments, identifying bottlenecks and advise on improvement.

You and your talent:

As a Business Expert you are involved in 1 or more squads. Your home base will be in the CRM (Credit Risk Mitigation) squad.

• 5-10 years of experience in the domain of financial assessment, credit analysis/credit approvals or risk management. Knowledge of covenant registration/monitoring would be a plus.
• Interested in translating policy and business requirements into designs and specifications within business and IT architecture framework.
• Thrive in complex environments and exhibit skills in stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of and interest in national and international credit risk regulations.
• Agile mindset and interested in working in an Agile way of working environment.
• Strong data analytical skills and experienced in process-based and problem-solving thinking.
• Team player focused on results and outcome, without losing sight of details.
• Story telling - strong communicator and negotiator.
• Fluent in English and preferably Dutch language capability (both verbally and in writing).

This is what we offer you:

• This role will be scaled in scale 10, with a monthly gross salary in the range of €5.115,32 and €7.307,58;
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• A desk, chair and monitor to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40.
• A personal development budget of € 1.400.
• A combination of working from home and at the office.
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport.
• A pension scheme to which you contribute 5,5% or 3.5%.
• 151.2 hours holiday per year + 1 Diversity Day per year.
