As Operational Design, Control & Resilience (ODCR) Business Partner for Private Banking within DBNL, you engage and enable senior management in their control & resilience accountability and enhance risk culture, while focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.

Aim of ODCR is to deliver on ING staying safe & secure by engaging and enabling ING (business) leaders to be in control of their (local) processes and activities, while doing this in the most efficient and effective way for ING as a whole. Through ODCR Business Partners, ING leaders are provided with a complete overview of all control and resilience requirements for their respective domains and processes.

As a strategic partner for the first line risk owners, you drive the control & resilience calendar within the Private Banking Domain. You partner with the business line and tribe leadership and risk experts, supported by the ING Hub, in helping business leaders be in control and focus on what matters.

Your role and responsibilities

In your role as ODCR Business Partner for the Private Banking Domain you:

build a strong relationship with the (senior) managers within the Private Banking domain by showing business acumen and providing control & resilience solutionssupport an ambitious growth strategy in the Private Banking segment through in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customers, market, products and propositionsare a challenger of the status quo, demonstrating a keen awareness of both the opportunities and risks of new developments in digitalization and GenAI (e.g. in lead generation)act as a trusted partner to steer towards control & resilience quality, e.g. in IT risk and user developed applicationsrepresent the voice of control & resilience in transformation programs and ensure that risk assessments etc. happen in a way that improves time-to-marketengage the Tribes to have control & resilience by design in their processesenable and engage (senior) managers for them to boost risk culture and own control & resilience conversations, e.g. through Dilemma Management or Productive Conversationsuse data and reporting to shape the control & resilience agenda and drive the relevant control and resilience discussions in business meetingsinform and educate risk experts and ING Hub on (changing) business needs, opportunities and concerns so they can amend solutions accordinglyliaise with relevant 2LoD and 3LoD colleagues for risk management questions and/or advise on risk mitigating activitiesHow to succeed We hire smart people like you for your potential. RequirementsMaster/Bachelor degree with up to 3 years relevant experience, preferably within the Private Individuals domainIn-depth knowledge of, or ability to quickly master, Private Banking & Wealth Management products, customers and processes.Fluent in English and Dutch.Strong communication skills: written and oral.Good knowledge of (and practical experience) in NFR Framework, monitoring and reporting.Good analytical skills.Proven planning & organizational skills.Driven and customer focused, loving to collaborate with different people.You are a team player, but are able to deliver individually in close cooperation with other ING colleagues.Making things happen thanks to your 'can do' attitude.Problem solving.Actively ask for help and feedback, but also dare to give feedback/Speak Up.A pragmatic, thorough and result driven approach.The capacity to quickly learn new content and acquire new networks.Strong organization sensibility and stakeholder management skills.You are able to act and perform successfully in an agile environment.We redefine banking.
