Working in the role of Full Stack Development Engineer, you will be part of the development team of Philips Hue at Signify. You will be responsible for developing new features and continuously improving our Mobile Apps and integrations with our backend.

You will be part of R&D of BU Hue Connected, working on Philips Hue and located on the HTC in Eindhoven (NL).

Within the different teams, products and features are developed to enhance user and lighting experience for Hue customers.

You wil be part of the Homes and Users teams, responsible for the users in our ecosystem.

What you'll do
  • You will develop following the agile mythology and work closely with a talented cross-functional team.
  • You will work on new features of an application that sits on the home screen of millions of users.
  • You will work on our cloud systems to support development of new features for our users.
  • You will improve our Flutter (Android and iOS) Apps through prototyping, implementation, testing and launch.
  • You will keep ahead of the latest developments in your domain and share that knowledge with others.
  • You will challenge yourself to do better every day and have fun while doing so.
Your qualifications
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in developing cloud end points on either AWS or GCP.
  • You haven an understanding of identity management, privacy and security.
  • You have experience with mobile app development (Android and/or iOS background), preferably with a Flutter experience.
  • The drive to improve the user experience and interaction of our customers.
  • You are eager to learn about the latest innovations on the Internet-of-Things domain.
  • You can deliver high quality work to the agreed deadlines in an innovative environment.
  • You are proud of what you do and have a deep passion to do things right.
  • You have a solid understanding of the agile development process and experience with TDD is a plus.
  • You can communicate and discuss ideas and features with your team and stakeholders.
