About this role:

As Global CRM Lifecycle Audience Manager you are part of one of the "Retention Marketing" teams which has a clear focus to improve customer order frequency. These improvements are based on clear data-insights developed in cooperation with our data and analytics team. Therefore, the people in the team have different backgrounds and roles to achieve common goals (and thereby opportunities to learn from your peers). By doing so you have a big contribution to 's growth strategy.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Develop and optimize intelligent campaigns and personalized customer journeys to trigger our customer's purchase behavior and develop customer lifetime value
  • Optimize our customer base segmentation to serve the right message to the right consumer at the right time.
  • Analyze data to enhance your understanding of our customers and deliver insights that drive personalized experiences.
  • Create advanced segmentations using SQL to make sure we send the right message to the right customer
  • Evaluate existing and new campaigns, constantly measure campaign performance, rigorously A/B test, and optimize our communications across channels.
  • Be a CRM industry expert, advocating for best practices within the CRM teams and other internal stakeholders. Look out for new opportunities to innovate and experiment.
  • Always keep a sharp eye on your customer

A day in the life of:

Today you discover a new issue on customer retention in Germany. You organize a 20-minute brainstorm with the team to decide on possible strategies.

The content team jumps in and provides your team with content for a plan. The team set up the campaign and sees increased open rates, double click rates. You build a dashboard based on the engagement data and order behavior, and you notice that this campaign led to a 12% decrease in churn for a specific group of customers. You deep-dive in that group of customers to see if you can notice any interesting pattern in their churn behavior, so you can share some insights with your team so they can work on a long-term approach.

Suddenly it's already 6 PM and you've noticed how quickly time passes as you are so excited about the results of that new customer journey.

What will you ideally bring to the table?

  • A bachelor/masters degree in Business/Marketing or related field
  • Expertise in email, push, and in-app marketing concepts and metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management experience.
  • A solid understanding of data and segmentation methodologies plus A/B testing.
  • Experience working in an extremely fast paced data-driven environment.
  • Strong data skills. Proficient in SQL and familiar with the concept of Pipelines and Data integration (bonus point if experience with Google Cloud Platform).
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Organized, great attention to detail, and a self starter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially to communicate complex analysis
  • Operational excellence - ensure all campaigns and audiences are built and sent efficiently and accurately.
  • A fun, smart, and open-minded person who enjoys working in an international multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English (our company language) in addition to one of the following languages: German, Dutch, French, Polish, Spanish or Italian.
  • 3+ years of working experience in a similar digital role.
