As an Application Engineer at VDL ETG Eindhoven, you play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our applications. You collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure our systems function seamlessly and meet our customers' needs.
Responsibilities:
The Application Engineer fulfills various roles and/or tasks, which are specified below.
Business Information Analyst (BIA):
- Analyzes business processes and translates business needs into applications.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and prioritize information requirements.
- Ensures systems deliver the right data for decision-making.
Product Owner:
- Focuses on the product itself, manages the product backlog, and prioritizes tasks.
- Collaborates with development teams to achieve the product's goal.
Developer:
- Develops and implements software solutions following DevOps principles.
- Writes efficient code according to VDL standards and automates processes.
- Works with other team members to solve technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
- SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office apps.
- Experience working with various data sources and systems.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages, spoken and written.
