Sr. Outbound Product Manager, Platform Demo Solution

The Now Platform is the cornerstone of ServiceNow's mission to become the leading enterprise software firm of the 21st century and expand organically to exceed $15B in revenue. Created in the cloud and developed from scratch with a unified data model and scalable architecture, the Now Platform facilitates seamless data flow across applications and existing systems. This platform delivers enterprise-level workflow automation, optimizing processes for enhanced productivity, flexibility, and resilience with modern, user-friendly experiences.

Team

The ServiceNow platform product management team oversees the core capabilities of the Now Platform, which are integral to every pre-built ServiceNow solution. You will be part of a skilled and supportive team passionate about leveraging and promoting our platform both internally and to our clients. Specifically, you will join the Demo Solutions Outbound Product Management team to contribute to the go-to-market strategy by designing and presenting engaging solution demos that showcase the value of the Now Platform.

Role

You will collaborate with a team responsible for creating and managing one of the most influential go-to-market assets: the solution demos highlighting the capabilities and value of the Now Platform. Your responsibilities will include defining the architecture, configurations, demo data, quality assurance, testing, and documentation crucial for product demonstrations, operational efficiency, and closing deals. If you are seeking an opportunity to solve complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced setting, this role is ideal for you. You will collaborate with product management, presales teams, and the demo infrastructure department to translate demo narratives into inspiring demonstrations for the field.

What you will do in this role

  • Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process
  • Collaborate with the demo solutions team to architect and design scalable demos based on requirements
  • Develop and configure cross-solution demos to showcase the Now Platform's capabilities while adhering to software development and architecture best practices (e.g., code reviews, unit testing, etc.)
  • Establish, build, implement, and engage in a robust testing framework to ensure the readiness of demo deliverables for sales without errors
  • Create solutions tailored for multiple languages and specific regions
  • Plan and execute compatibility and regression testing
  • Assist in identifying and resolving bugs in our demos
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and create update sets
  • Present demos to the field with clear, compelling demo scripts and conduct demo enablement sessions/videos
  • Identify opportunities for demo automation and standardized processes and content
  • Maintain 24/7 availability of demo environments
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive expertise in the development of the Now Platform and ServiceNow Products (minimum 4 years)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, and HTML
  • Scripting skills to develop utilities, such as simulating data center activities or updating records to current date/time ranges
  • Experience with integrations, including API development and/or Integrations Hub exposure in ServiceNow
  • An eye for detail, proficiency in debugging, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle processes for product management
  • Excellent communication skills encompassing technical and business concepts
  • Demonstrated proactive behavior and self-initiative
  • Capability to prioritize tasks efficiently to minimize wasted effort
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments while upholding integrity and focusing on details
  • Fluency in English
