Internship Category Development

We are looking for a Category Management Intern for the Netherlands - based in Weesp (Amsterdam) per September 2024. Note the startdate can be discussed and there is also a possibility to combine this internship with writing your thesis.

In this role you will be part of the Customer Development team of the Benelux and get full responsibility as of your first day. You will get the opportunity to gain experience in the dynamic FMCG market and put your own ideas into practice.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Supporting retailers' mutation moments by developing category presentations which are used when presenting the shelf and category advice to our customers / retail partners
  • Analysing and building planograms (shelf recommendations) and working on advice projects.
  • Identifying big trends and opportunities in the market by analysing market data and market/consumer research.
  • Developing your data skills by analysing the market and creating monthly reports.

  • WO (/HBO) Bachelor or Master student with affinity with marketing/sales (product development, communication, activation);
  • Full command of the Dutch language is mandatory, as well as a good command of the English language;
  • Analytic mind and results-oriented;
  • Enthusiastic and driven;
  • Proactive and a strong communicator;
  • Independent;
