The Homes&Users teams provide services around accounts, direct2consumer, exploration, and co-creation, and these services are implemented in the Hue cloud and/or in the Hue mobile App.
The IoT team provides services around device management, software update, remote connectivity, diagnostics & analytics, as well as the platform infrastructure for the cloud and the Hue bridge.

As the Scrum Master of the platform cluster, you coach multiple teams by being a servant leader and supporting them in achieving their goals. You implement and support Agile principles & practices, identify and eliminate impediments, and drive continuous improvement to ensure flow of delivery. You will be working in the Hue R&D development team, alongside other software engineers on one of the largest commercial IoT systems.

Your responsibilities

  • You coach people, teams and the organization in agile scrum methodologies and facilitate our scrum rituals to drive continuous improvements.
  • You facilitate agile ceremonies such as planning and retrospectives, daily standups, demo sessions for multiple teams in the cluster.
  • You remove team impediments with urgency and identify improvements through sprint and PI retrospectives and follow through in implementing these.
  • You enable the team to work as a self-empowered unit.
  • You know how to unite teams and bring people closer together.
  • You are guiding the team in choices on cutting edge technology and development practices and mentors the various teams in these areas.
  • You help to get the right insights and improve awareness on value delivery.
    •You manage and optimize the flow of value using various tools (JIRA).

Your qualifications
  • You have a Master's or Bachelor degree and experience in software development (technology, processes, and best practices).
  • You have a deep understanding and experience in the Agile development process and methodologies.
  • You have minimally 3+ years of experience as a scrum master in a software product development organization.
  • You have excellent people skills to lead change in teams and organizations.
  • You have experience with servant leadership, and you can convey goal and purpose, while encouraging self-organization.
  • You have behavioral competencies such as great business insights, customer-first mentality, cognitive skills, problem-solving skills, being pro-active, emotional intelligence, being clear and candid in your communication, and managing conflicts.
  • You have good verbal and written English with excellent communication skills.
