Source inspector Quality Control

As a Source Inspector, you have the role of finding the source of a quality issue, or asking the supplier for a thorough analysis to determine the cause of a quality issue.
You have a number of suppliers under your care and you are confident as you communicate with various internal and external parties.
You are willing to visit suppliers all over the world on a regular basis You recognize yourself in the following character traits:self-directed, proactive, planning and organizing, communicative, decisive.
Work:
- Independent handling of FAIs (AS9102 B) from the supply chain, whether or not together with the customer (or regulator such as TDL);
- Make proposals for optimizing the Receipt Control Cards (OCK) based on supplier performance;
- Independently handle quality problems in the receipt audit trail. Where necessary, by means of analysis methods, 8D, preferably Kepner & Tregoe PSDM training;
- Performing B and C inspection methods according to the OCK;
- Management of the quarantine warehouse;
- Productafname in de supply chain;
- Making supplier performance visible in KPI's;
- Timely identification and reporting to SQE if agreements made with suppliers are not realized;
- Participation in scrums (internal and supply chain);
- Performing product and process audits at supplier;
- Purchase of products, which may involve temporary secondment to suppliers in some cases;
- Propose structural improvements;
- Issuing and handling Non Conformity Reports (NCs);
- Manage and optimize the content of OCKs, in consultation with SQE or PV, based on vendor performance.

In order to perform this function optimally, we ask the following:
Quality control system and geometric measurement techniques
Analysis methods, 8D, preferably Kepner & Tregoe PSDM training
Demonstrable audit skills (product & process)
Knowledge of special processes is an advantage
Technical specifications and technical manuals of products or parts thereof to be manufactured by third parties;
Procedures, business rules and safety, quality, environmental, security and export compliance regulations to the extent that it applies to the position;
The necessary software programs (Microsoft Office) and BAAN, Matrix, KIS, Tradeshift and Enovia
Experience with Kaizen, SIX_ SIGMA
