Pestana Amsterdam Riverside has 154 modern and historical rooms, a spa with one of the largest indoor swimming pools of Amsterdam, a well-equipped gym and 10 meeting rooms where we host events up to 200 people. What we are looking for?

Pestana Amsterdam Riverside is looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to amaze our guests with your excellent cooking skills to prepare the dishes according to the chef’s specification. The position involves aiding in the coaching of the kitchen team, as you will oversee your own cooking station. You will work closely with the Sous chef optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality.

What you are doing
  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the Head chef and provide input in new presentations or dishes
  • Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
