Als Business Unit Manager Energy & Carbon speel je een cruciale rol in het bepalen, realiseren en aansturen van strategieën binnen deze groeiende afdeling van Control Union Certifications. Je hebt de verantwoordelijkheid voor het organiseren van werkprocessen en het ontwikkelen van het team. Je blijft op de hoogte van de recente ontwikkelingen in de wereld van biobrandstof en CO2 (reductie) en zet deze kennis in voor het aanboren van nieuwe markten en het ontwikkelen van nieuwe diensten waardoor je optimale bedrijfsresultaten waarborgt. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operationeel Directeur en geeft leiding aan een internationaal team (9,5 fte) van specialisten (zoals auditoren, experts en dossierbeoordelaars), waarin je stuurt op eigenaarschap en verantwoordelijkheid.Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
  • Bepalen en implementeren van korte en lange termijn strategieën voor de Business Unit;
  • Leiden van afdelingswerkzaamheden met een focus op kwaliteit, capaciteit en tijdigheid;
  • Coördineren van in- en externe communicatie;
  • Actieve deelname aan of leiding geven aan projecten binnen de Business Unit;
  • Beoordelen van de prestaties van de Business Unit op basis van aangeleverde monitoringinformatie en initiëren van procesverbeteringen;
  • Ontwikkelen en implementeren van commerciële strategieën op Business Unit-, markt- en programmaniveau;
  • Beheren van budgetten en verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor het commerciële resultaat.
Functie-eisen
  • Hbo of wo-opleiding, bijvoorbeeld in Environmental Sciences of Biobased Sciences;
  • Interesse om je inhoudelijke kennis te combineren met leidinggeven;
  • Ruime ervaring in het opstellen en implementeren van strategische plannen;
  • Sterke communicatievaardigheden, overtuigingskracht en ruime ervaring in stakeholdermanagement;
  • In staat om zowel op tactisch als strategisch niveau te denken en handelen.
