Business Financial Controller

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Financial Controller to join our Grid Automation unit in the Netherlands and Belgium. As a local Business controller, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure reliable financial data reporting according to defined timelines.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business managers within and outside the organization to support operational decision-making.
- Provide financial support to project teams across the full project lifecycle.
- Monitor relevant KPI to push for effectiveness in the cost structure and productivity.
- Perform quality checks on financial reporting data, including an analytical review of major fluctuations and FX impacts.
- Ensure compliance with company and country standards, regulations, IFRS accounting standards guidelines, and internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc related financial analysis and participate in relevant financial and transformation initiatives.
Your Background
- You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a similar degree.
- You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in finance and business control, preferably from a similar industry.
- Excellent accounting, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
- Strong MS Office skills and solid knowledge of ERP (SAP or S4) systems.
- Genuine team player who seeks and enjoys collaboration with peers and partners.
- Orientation on goals, proactive approach, and problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
