Cluster Financial Controller

The Mainport Hotel Rotterdam and Maashotel Rotterdam Centre are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the hotel's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of both hotels, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the financial operations of both hotels, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Implement effective internal controls to prevent financial misstatements and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the hotel's management team to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage the hotel's cash flow, including cash forecasting, cash management, and cash flow analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, including accounting systems and financial analysis tools.
