About this role 

The role of Enterprise Risk Analyst is to support the implementation of the enterprise risk management policy and embed risk processes across Just Eat Takeaway.com (“JET”). You will be involved with the hands-on development of risk assessments at various levels of JET’s risk hierarchy, including Group (strategic / principal risks), country, functional and project level assessments as well as on ad-hoc topics. You will hold risk conversations and workshops with key stakeholders to identify the most important risks, make sure mitigations are operating effectively or adequate actions have been identified to address existing or emerging risks. 

Building relationships across the business will be an important part of your role as you help to strengthen the brand of risk management at JET as a trusted advisor to the business, showing the value it can offer in helping to achieve JET’s strategy. You will have excellent analytical skills and be able to apply those skills across a variety of risk areas. You will also be comfortable having interactions with various (senior management) stakeholders on risk management matters. 

You will be reporting to the Enterprise Risk Manager who is responsible for overseeing all enterprise risk activities at JET and providing regular updates to the Managing Board, Executive Leadership Team and other senior management at JET. This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, analytical, structured and ambitious individual looking to be pivotal in the development of JET’s risk capabilities

These are some of the key ingredients to the role: 
  • Risk assessments - Conduct and coordinate risk assessments across the entire company (operating in 18 countries), with an appreciation of aligning risk to strategy. 
  • Key risk indicators - Be the day-to-day lead on monitoring key risk indicators that act as quantitative early warning signals for the key risk areas of JET. This will require analytical skills in assessing the monthly risk trends as well as the interpersonal skills involved with managing relationships with key stakeholders to follow-up with them for commentary on key trends.
  • Risk reporting - Develop risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience which includes educating the Management Board about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; and ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks. Attention to detail and an affinity with presentation skills is very important.
  • Risk foundations - Maintaining the enterprise risk management policy and compliance requirements, which includes liaising with internal auditors, external auditors and regulators.
  • Trusted advisor - Providing valuable risk management advice to project teams including following-up on actions proposed. You’ll play an important role in building risk awareness amongst staff across the company by providing practical support and training. 
  • GRC tooling - Ensuring that the risk management software is properly used across JET. This will involve becoming the subject matter expert on JET’s risk software solution, educating the business on how it is used, ensuring the system remains up-to-date and provides powerful on-going reporting to management.

  • Significant experience in risk management related functions
  • Analytical skills and an eye for detail (using visualisation tools such as Excel, Tableau)
  • Strong written presentation skills (PowerPoint)
  • Communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships across different areas of the business
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to understand broader business issues.
