Read through this vacancy quicklyAs a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on advanced automation systems. You possess broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems and can resolve complex issues. In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior technicians and providing technical advice to colleagues.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various technical installations.
  • Resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults and problems.
  • Coach and mentor junior technicians and new employees.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on malfunctions and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain maintenance documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate with the client to coordinate the maintenance schedule.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Before you start, you will undergo a thorough training period. Here, you will learn how to handle the systems and structures used within the client’s warehouse. You will be working at the large warehouses in the Venlo and Sevenum areas. Your training program will be led by the resident technicians and an external trainer who will teach you all aspects of the role.The work is in two shifts from Monday to Friday, leaving your weekends free for your personal activities. As mentioned earlier, you will be working for one of the large warehouses in the area, such as DSV, Stryker, or Tommy Hilfiger. You will have a fixed workplace, which will be discussed during your application process.Waar ga je werken?Our client is a major player in the Benelux region, developing innovative automation solutions for (warehouse) logistics. By combining technological expertise and their experience in various industries, they achieve successful outcomes.Since you will be working at the industrial sites in Venlo and Sevenum, it is important that you have your own transportation or live nearby. The locations are easily accessible by car from the surrounding municipalities of Venlo, Peel en Maas, Venray, Roermond, Leudal, and Weert. However, as the client reimburses travel expenses, you can also easily commute from Eindhoven, Echt-Susteren, Sittard-Geleen, and Born.Wat mag je verwachten?
  • A starting salary from €3000 based on your knowledge and experience, with an additional 8-10% extra pay for hours worked after 8:00 PM.
  • You will receive a travel allowance to commute from home to work.
  • You will start directly with a contract from the employer, not as a temporary employee.
  • You will receive 25 vacation days based on a full-time contract.
  • Monthly 8% holiday pay on top of your monthly salary.
  • Participation in the KNAPP Pension Fund with favorable terms and the option to choose your own investment.
  • Company-provided laptop and phone, which you can also use privately.

  • You have expertise and can collaborate effectively with other senior technicians.
