An exciting opportunity for an in-house Tax Manager, has arisen within an award winning international business in the technology space.

You will be part of a large international tax team based all over the world, with a large team in Amsterdam. This is a strategic advisory role and is extremely commercial. You will manage all directs tax affairs for the Nordics region. The group is highly acquisitive and as such you will support in managing the tax implications and planning opportunities of new ventures, ensuring optimization of the tax position across a variety of EU jurisdictions.

About the role;

  • Support the business operations as well as finance and legal departments with day-to-day tax questions in the Nordics region
  • Support in acquisition tax projects and post-acquisition integration. This includes managing Due Diligence with external advisors.
  • Help implement tax planning for the Nordics and potentially beyond
  • Be pro-active in researching international tax issues and legislative developments that affect the group and raise tax awareness
  • Oversee the outsourced tax compliance, advising on risks
  • Work with the Tax Director on tax optimization projects
  • Manage tax audits with support from controllership, advisers and internal transfer pricing team and other teams.
  • Review of quarterly and annual US GAAP income tax provisions; manage maintenance of unrecognized tax positions.
  • Build maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders


About you;

  • University degree in Fiscal Law/Economics or tax qualification
  • Ideally 5-7 years of tax experience, can be first or further move in house
  • Fluent in English
  • Commercial attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
