Mission

The Director of Strategic Marketing & Business Intelligence will drive business growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals.

This role will be focused on the global layer and turkey businesses of Hendrix Genetics and, together with the Managing Directors, will drive customer engagement, revenue growth, pricing strategies, value selling, and set the medium and long-term vision for the business.

Responsibilities

  1. Designing and implementing marketing strategies aligned with business targets for the global Layers and Turkeys Business Units.

  2. Collecting and analyzing sales, market data, and other industry metrics to further drive sales and growth.

  3. Developing pricing strategies to optimize the value of our products, services, and testing for price elasticity where possible.

  4. Forecasting market trends and their impacts on product development and revenue generation, using this data to drive business.

  5. Overall responsibility and leading the process of new product launches.

  6. Researching the industry and clients to identify new opportunities.

  7. Thorough understanding of customer needs through direct customer contact, feedback, surveys, and other touchpoints; using customer feedback to enhance client satisfaction.

  8. Together with the marketing staff, generating new and innovative ideas to promote our brands and products.

  9. Ongoing monitoring of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to innovate and improve marketing strategies.

Your Profile

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, agribusiness, or a related field, and you have 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic marketing.

You're adept at using CRM and BI tools, and you bring a strong understanding of business, P&L, and pricing strategies.

You’re customer-focused (internally and externally). You enjoy gathering and analyzing data to drive business results and are motivated by customer engagement and revenue growth, which are key objectives of this role.

Your experience in global organizations allows you to adapt to changing market conditions, and your strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships at all levels.

You're also creative, proactive, and results-oriented.

You’re able to travel as needed (20 - 30%).
