Maintenance Technician - Amsterdam (Starbucks Manufacturing) Salary: €68,000 - €72,000 per year (including allowances)Location: Amsterdam Westpoort (max. 60 km commute) Are you the Maintenance Technician we're looking for? Do you have at least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing environment? Are you a natural problem-solver with strong technical skills? Join our team at Starbucks Amsterdam Roasting Plant and help us keep our world-class production running smoothly What will you do? As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure all plant machinery operates safely and at optimal performance. You'll work closely with the operations team, champion continuous improvement, and help eliminate waste while increasing safety, quality, and reliability. Your key responsibilities include: Execute planned maintenance work orders safely, on time, and in full Analyze deviations in machine and product specifications using breakdown analysis methods Respond to breakdown calls, advise on repairs, and prioritize urgency with the plant supervisor Perform preventive maintenance and inspections according to schedule Report findings and ensure appropriate follow-up Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and output Train and coach team members in preventive and autonomous maintenance You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work in a relaxed 3-shift system (night shift only once every 6 weeks). What do we ask of you? Education: Dutch MBO level 4 in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (MBO-3 with strong experience also considered) Experience: Minimum 3 years in technical maintenance within a (food) manufacturing environment Strong preference for Electrical background (mechanical skills can be learned) Ability to read PNID diagrams and electrical schematics VCA VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of mechanical drive technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, process control, PLC Skilled in problem-solving using analytical techniques Excellent verbal and written English skills (training and documentation are in English) What can you expect from us?
