Introduction to the job
We are seeking experienced ServiceNow Developers to join our Service Management Agile Release Train (ART). In this role, you will work closely with the DevOps teams within our ART to drive productivity and improve service delivery across the organization. By leveraging the power of the ServiceNow platform, we aim to create an enterprise-wide, one-stop shop for fast, high-quality services. You will play a key part in delivering integrated and automated workflows, enabling employees to work more efficiently and focus on what matters most.
Job Mission:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for translating functional specifications into the best possible technical implementations, ensuring maximum value for our stakeholders. This role sits at the heart of an empowered team that makes autonomous decisions on how to design, build, and deliver new solutions.
You will work within established organizational and architectural guidelines defined by the System Architect to ensure quality and consistency. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Owner to define clear and actionable user stories, and you will support the Scrum Master in building a high-performing, collaborative team. Beyond technical development, you’ll coach and challenge other team members, contributing to their growth and development. Your mission is to elevate the entire team to deliver higher levels of value, predictability, and agility.
Education and experience:
- As a ServiceNow Developer with a ServiceNow Administrator certification and 5 to 7+ years of development experience, you are a master in designing, planning, building, delivering, and administering ServiceNow solutions.
- Requires a MSc. degree in Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent
- You provide guidance on solution direction, collaborating with stakeholders and functional consultants to translate business requirements into sustainable ServiceNow developments, improvements, and implementations.
- Your responsibilities include developing complex technical components, performing system integrations, and creating reusable modules that can be leveraged in future projects.
- Additionally, you will serve as a mentor and coach to junior developers, fostering their growth and development.
Skills you must have :-
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow HRSD, CSM and other business and IT related modules (ITSM) and processes. A good understanding of related business concepts is a pre.
- Experience with the ServiceNow core application UI and workflow configuration (including flow designer), report development, integration components (e.g. LDAP, SSO, MuleSoft).
- Experience with Web Technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Web Services, XML), Service Portal concepts (e.g. UI Builder, Angular JS) and working in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with E2E solution delivery, including building, (automated) testing, CI/CD concepts and running operational activities (incident management, request automation, problem solving, root cause analysis)
Besides the more technical skills and competences, you’re Agile and or SAFe certified. You’re highly motivated and energetic and can pass your enthusiasm towards the teams and others. Your consulting, mentoring and coaching skills are strong and you are a great result driven person and communicator. You are outgoing, actively building relationships while building value for your stakeholders. You act like an entrepreneur and take ownership.

The sub-department is within the IT organization is the IT Solution Delivery Corporate Portfolio. This portfolio is responsible for innovation projects and changes in the IT systems supporting the corporate organization.
You will be reporting to the IT GL Corporate.
