Introduction
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. We deliver material to our Customers in the Field on time, in full, and at the right quality and cost. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments, transfers and after sales. The CSCM Quality team is responsible for development and implementation of structural and systematic quality improvements (procedures, processes, work instructions, workmanship, etc. ) throughout the entire CSCM Supply Chain.
Role and responsibility
The CSCM Quality team is responsible for the quality of parts and tools within the CSCM domain, matching the demand of complex events and after sales activities at the customer sites. The team is bringing a key contribution to ASML’s logistics and quality performance and supporting the strategic plans to realize ASML’s Customer Support roadmap.
- You will act on operational and tactical level in the CSCM Quality Department and drive the goals in line with the CSCM vision and its Quality Strategy
- You will coordinate and manage operational KPI’s, using lean techniques to streamline operations and bring these in line with customer requirements
- You will organize an adequate feedback loop on achieved results and secures reliable business insights
- You will support quality and performance analysis across all countries and you will initiate and drive continuous improvement to optimize
- You will contribute to the success of the CSCM Quality department by taking ownership beyond the scope of own group
- You will build and maintain a network of stakeholders / partners and represent the team
- You will support the evaluation organizational design of the central and field organization and initiate and implement changes and improvements
Education and experience
Relevant Master degree (MSc) is a must (i.e Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Quality Management). Black Belt Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- >8 years experience in a Supply Chain Management or Quality Management environment
- Knowledge in and experience with business complexity, Supply Chain or relevant industry
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in leading global projects
