As Solution Architect, you drive innovation, ensure data is accessible and secure, and collaborate with squads to deliver impactful solutions that support Rabobank’s mission. You work closely with the FEC Data Layer team, GenAI squad, and Data Management team to align technology with business needs and regulatory requirements. Examples from practice Design end‑to‑end architectures for new initiatives, ensuring scalability and compliance with data privacy regulations. Help evolve the architectural blueprint that ensures FEC data is accessible, reliable, and secure for advanced analytics and regulatory compliance. Integrate Generative AI capabilities into FEC solutions, enabling advanced analytics and innovation. Top 3 Responsibilities Design and integrate solution architectures for complex data environments, ensuring scalability, security, and future‑readiness across new and existing applications. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, guiding squads and stakeholders from ideation to deployment and support. Lead the Sub‑Area and squads from the architecture perspective in de triangle. You also advise on data cataloguing, logical data models, and ensure alignment with business object models and quality standards. We are curious about what you will add to our FEC Data & Insights area. You & your talent Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural roles, preferably in the banking or the financial sector. Deep understanding of Data and IT architecture, including application functions, data security, and interaction patterns. Experience with architectural frameworks (TOGAF & ArchiMate) and Cloud Architecture (Microsoft Azure/Databricks). Strong knowledge of data mesh, data platforms, and ELT/ETL technologies. Knowledge of data management frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK), data modelling and data privacy (e.g., AI Act, GDPR) and preferably banking specific regulations (e.g., BCBS 239). Proven ability to build solutions for complex data environments, serverless architectures, and high‑performance applications. Proven experience in enabling data science teams to bring AI systems into production with deep expertise in the infrastructure, processes and governance required. Strong communicator who can convey complex architectural topics to both a technical and non‑technical audience in an understandable and engaging manner. Comfortable with a broad stakeholder field: from technical engineers to senior management in the business. Persuasive skills to advocate for architectural principles, while also demonstrating empathy, pragmatism, and stakeholder awareness to adapt your approach respectfully and effectively.
