About us
Damen Civil & Modular Constructions is een onderdeel binnen de Damen groep en we zijn gepassioneerd bezig met het bouwen van scheepswerven, droogdokken, modulaire pontons, Pontoon & Barges, Split Hopper Barges en HDPE-schepen voor klanten over de hele wereld.
Ons team bestaat uit een bonte mix van experts in engineering, productie, kwaliteitscontrole en projectmanagement, die samenwerken als een goed geoliede machine om al onze producten tot een succes te maken.
Onze Civiele afdeling houdt zich niet alleen bezig met het bouwen van scheepswerven, maar ook bv met het construeren van slipways en het uitvoeren van haalbaarheidsstudies. Wij zijn dus de civiele afdeling binnen onze scheepswerf en hier werken dan ook civiel opgeleide mensen.
The role
Als Civil Design & Proposal Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en voorstellen van civiele projecten. Je zult nauw samenwerken met verschillende belanghebbenden, waaronder klanten, architecten en projectmanagers, om technisch haalbare en kosteneffectieve ontwerpen te ontwikkelen.
Je zult betrokken zijn bij alle fasen van het project, van conceptontwerp tot definitieve commerciële voorstellen. Daarnaast zul je ook verantwoordelijk zijn voor het opstellen van offertes en het presenteren van technische voorstellen aan klanten.
Key accountabilities
- Ontwikkelen van civiele ontwerpen die voldoen aan de technische specificaties en de behoeften van de klant;
- Uitvoeren van technische haalbaarheidsstudies en risicoanalyses;
- Samenwerken met interne teams en externe belanghebbenden om projectdoelstellingen te bereiken;
- Opstellen van gedetailleerde offertes en technische documentatie;
- Presenteren van ontwerpvoorstellen aan klanten en stakeholders;
- Zorgen voor naleving van regelgeving en richtlijnen op het gebied van civiele techniek;
- Ondersteunen van projectmanagers bij de uitvoering en implementatie van projecten;
- Zelf meereizen om toekomstige bouwlocaties te bezoeken en hier technisch onderzoek te doen;
Skills & experience
- Een afgeronde opleiding in civiele techniek, bouwkunde of een gerelateerd vakgebied;
- Ervaring met ontwerpsoftware en technische berekeningen;
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om complexe technische concepten duidelijk te presenteren;
- Analytisch denkvermogen en probleemoplossend vermogen;
- Teamspeler met het vermogen om effectief samen te werken in een multidisciplinair team;
- Oog voor detail en kwaliteit, met een resultaatgerichte aanpak;
