Als Senior Structural Engineer (Staal & Beton) heb je de lead in constructieve projecten en werk je samen met modelleurs en constructeurs of in multidisciplinaire teams. Als Senior Structural Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de constructieve uitwerking van projecten voor verschillende opdrachtgevers binnen de industrie en de utiliteitsbouw. Je inventariseert en adviseert over de scope van projecten en vervolgens zorg je er samen met je collega’s voor dat we waarmaken wat we beloven.

Een greep uit je werkzaamheden

Jouw werkzaamheden binnen projecten bestaan uit het ontwerpen van (complexe) staal- en betonconstructies. Maar ook het opstellen, beoordelen en controleren van rapportages, berekeningen en tekeningen hoort hier bij. Daarnaast begeleid je constructeurs en modelleurs en fungeer je intern als vraagbaak op constructief gebied. Je wordt als Senior Structural Engineer betrokken bij aanvragen en offertes en bent dus mede verantwoordelijk voor het engineeringsbudget en de planning. Ook het uitvoeren van vaktechnische controles op de bouwplaats zal onderdeel uitmaken van jouw takenpakket.

Wat breng je mee?
Je beschikt minimaal over een HBO-diploma Bouwkunde / Civiele Techniek, eventueel aangevuld met een diploma HTI beton en/ of staal
Minimaal tien jaar ervaring als engineer binnen de industrie en utiliteitsbouw
Goed constructief, mechanisch en (vooral) praktisch inzicht
Het maken van ontwerp-, hoofd en detailberekeningen (ook m.b.v. rekensoftware) is jou op het lijf geschreven
Ruime ervaring met het controleren van berekeningen en tekeningen. Daarnaast heb je veelvuldig technisch inhoudelijke rapportages opgesteld
Nationale en internationale voorschriften hebben voor jouw geen geheimen
Je beheerst de nodige ontwerp- en rekensoftware binnen het vakgebied (Scia Engineer is een must, Technosoft is een pré)
Goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
PERSOONLIJK
In staat om mensen te motiveren en te begeleiden
Goede sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden
Je voelt je thuis in een dynamisch, ontwerp- reken- en tekenteam
Oplossingsgericht, analytisch, praktisch ingesteld en pragmatisch
Flexibele en zelfstandige instelling en je weet hierin het overzicht te bewaren
Leergierig en geïnteresseerd in de ontwikkelingen binnen het werkveld en je houdt jouw kennis actief up-to-date
