Role and Responsibilities

Your role

As an Account Manager for the Display Channel, you play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding strong partnerships with our channel partners. You are responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales through the channel and meet revenue targets. You work closely with our partners to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to effectively promote and sell our products and solutions/services.

Your responsibilities

Establish and maintain sustainable relationships with channel partners, such as resellers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Develop and execute business plans and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with marketing and product management, and manage all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize revenue growth and market share.
Meet assigned monthly sales targets per partner and maintain a healthy pipeline/accurate forecast in collaboration with other Account Managers.
Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders at your partners.
Ensure clear and consistent communication (internally and externally) with partners to build strong partnerships.
Stay informed about industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Train and assist channel partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products or services and can effectively market and sell them.
Understand the organizational structure of the partners.
Focus on building the company's credibility, brand value, and trust with your partners.
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com for contacts, conversations, emails, notes, tasks, demos, and other relevant information.
Be proactive in continuously assessing, clarifying, and validating partner needs.
Oversee partner contracts, agreements, and incentives to ensure compliance and to optimize partner satisfaction and performance.
Expand collaboration with channel partners and assess their potential to contribute to our sales objectives.

Your team

As a Samsung Account Manager Display Channel, you will work in a team of five colleagues and report to the Sales Manager B2B Channel Professional Display. On Mondays, we have our joint office day at Schiphol. The atmosphere is informal, and regular team activities, such as team drinks, are organized.

(Requirements)

Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking
Market knowledge and experience: you have at least five years of experience in the Dutch B2B market, including key behaviors and strategies for engaging partners.
Affinity with Channel Partners or resellers
Fluent in Dutch and English
Partner focus: shows commitment to meeting and exceeding the needs of the partners
You are innovative: we move fast and take big risks yet feel responsible.
You are collaborative: we recognize that we are all in this together.
Business acumen and flexibility: ability to articulate the business value of Samsung B2B and position them in competitive scenarios
Effective engagement and communication: effective time management, account management, and communication skills
Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and develop effective sales strategies.
