DEPARTMENTThe European Pipe & Utilities team is part of the Global Pipe Segment within the Polymers Sales & Market Solutions organization. The Regional Leader gives lead to 8 direct reports and reports to the Global Leader Pipe & Utilities.You will collaborate internally with the Global Segment & Sales teams, SABIC BU Leaders, T&I, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Legal, Communications and HR. Externally you'll intensively interact with the Pipe Value Chain, senior executives at segment customers, network owners, iIndustry Associations and Regulatory Agencies.

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIESLead a multi-national regional market facing team incl. development of the sales strategy, its execution, technical service, product standardization/certification and new business development.Manage external executive relationships along the Pipe Segment Value Chain.Drive specific Pipe Segment branding and marketing strategies supporting growth and differentiation.Drive the broader internal organization towards agreed targets like sales volume, pricing, differentiation and new business development in co-operation with the regional product line leaders to achieve targeted profitability and growth as set in strategy.Accountable for all regional Segment targets, budgeting & 5 year Business Plan, team development, pricing and customer negotiations.MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMin. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Chemistry.>10 years' experience in refinery/gas/petrochemical/trading international industry.Fluent in English. Proficiency in other european languages is advantageous.Strong managerial, conceptual, communicative, and analytical skills.In-depth knowledge of sales/marketing concepts with specific business expertise.Proven capability to drive change and mobilize teams.Readiness to travel a couple of times in a month (50-75%) within Europe.
