About Delmic

Located in Delft, we are a high-tech company that develops and produces microscopy solutions. The broad portfolio of Delmic systems brought on the market since 2011 now caters to a wide range of researchers in the fields ranging from nanophotonics to cell biology. Our international team has been growing constantly in recent years, and from a small startup now we have a team of more than 40 people from 12 different countries. We have an open and nonhierarchical environment, so your voice will always be heard. 

About the position

This a great time for you to come in and join Delmic. Our current Head of People is working to build strategic goals aligned with the right P&C processes, which includes our FIRST HR Operations Specialist.  Quite an exciting role and we are pretty sure everybody will welcome you with open arms

 

Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring smooth processes and exceptional experiences.
  • Oversee HR operations, handling administration and serving as the primary contact for queries on salary and other HR matters.
  • Uphold company culture, from fostering social behaviors to planning events and promoting engagement.
  • Lead office management, ensuring a positive work environment with well-organized facilities like lunch arrangements.
  • Prioritize employee well-being and happiness, collaborating with the Head of People to execute relevant initiatives.
  • Pay close attention to detail in HR tasks such as contracts and payroll, ensuring flawless execution and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Strong alignment with our company culture.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Positive attitude and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere in the office.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience in HR administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse perspectives.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch language skills are a plus.
