The Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Research Associate Upstream Processing within our Cell Engineering & Sciences team In this role you will support the Upstream Process team from early stage to late stage development. Within the role you will use different production platforms whilst producing a wide variety of different antibodies and antibody formats.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct activities related to assigned research study (e.g. conducting experiments, report processing, interpretation, and documentation)
  • Perform and optimize standardized/pre-described lab processes
  • Perform USP processes using Ambr15/ Ambr250 and 3L up to 50L Bioreactor systems
  • Perform clarifications using different platforms
  • Support internal Cell line development projects
  • Support Process development
  • Translate your findings into insights that can significantly improve the process of antibody production
  • Communicate your results to others effectively through reporting and presenting your work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant technical area (e.g. biology, immunology, cell biology)
  • 0-1 year experience in relevant technical area is seen as beneficial
  • You have a passion for animal cell technology and are eager to learn more about the subject
  • Experience with animal cell culturing is a significant advantage
  • You have a proactive and enthusiastic mindset
  • You are a team player
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written, in English
  • Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team with diverse researchers and stakeholders
