Novotel Amsterdam City has 610 rooms, meaning that more than 1,300 guests stay at the hotel daily. The Front Office ensures that every guest has an unforgettable experience, from check-in to check-out. The Front Office consists of approximately 25 colleagues, including the Manager, 3 Supervisors, 20 Team Members, and possibly you as the new Assistant Manager.

What will your day look like?

Alongside Amy, you'll lead the Front Office team, being the driving force in motivation, inspiring, and coaching our colleagues. Our goal is to provide an optimal guest experience; you'll proactively seek areas for improvement and ensure continuous enhancement. You enjoy identifying procedural imperfections and training the team to deliver even better service. Additionally, you'll assist in personnel management, scheduling, and frequently be at the front of the house.


In addition to your daily administrative tasks, you'll also participate in team recruitment and selection, performance management, training sessions, etc. You'll also independently handle projects such as upselling, membership acquisition, and ensuring that complaints are addressed in a way that prevents their recurrence in the future J.
