IT System Administrator (m/f/d) for data center services Permanent position, full-time - Cologne Your tasks The planning, implementation and administration of Microsoft Active Directory environments to ensure smooth authentication and access control The efficient virtualization and management of server resources to optimize the performance and availability of customers' IT infrastructure using VMware vSphere Configuring, maintaining and updating Microsoft Windows servers to ensure a secure and reliable server environment Supporting the connectivity and performance of complex server and storage environments using basic networking skills Identifying and resolving server and infrastructure issues The maintenance, care and further development of our own data centers, where we offer our customers cloud & hosting services Your profile You have successfully completed an IT degree / training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable IT training and have already gained several years of professional experience You have analytical skills to resolve complex IT infrastructure faults You have experience in the administration and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and MS Active Directory Ideally, you have system house experience or knowledge of migration projects With your specialist knowledge, you can quickly find your way around complex infrastructures and are able to achieve optimizations through weak point analyses Your qualities include a strong sense of service, commitment and enthusiasm Team spirit, commitment and communication skills are part of your personality You have a class B driving license Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite - other languages are welcome Your experience You have practical experience in several of the following areas: Microsoft AD VMware vSphere Microsoft Windows Server Network Veeam Backup What we offer you You can expect a varied job in the development of the IT division in the NetCologne Group as well as an innovative and dynamic company with flat hierarchies that is geared towards growth.
