But first of all, it's about people. #winningtogether Who We’re Looking For a NETWORK & SECURITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITE CT As a Network & Security Solutions Archit ect, you will be an integral part of the Solutions Team, inside of the Computacenter sales organisation. You will oversee the architecture, technical engineering, and guide implementation of networking solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that our customers receive robust and scalable solutions tailored to their nee ds. Your primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership, guiding critical decisions on the most vital components of the solutions we develop. From the initial proposal phase through to successful delivery, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and success of each project. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning technical strategies with business objectives, ensuring that Computacenter remains a trusted partner for our customers' IT infrastructure ne eds. What You ’ll Do Provide deep technical subject matter expertise, stay current on technical solutions and engage with our key Vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Netwo rks, …)Provide technical marketing, thought leadership and related supportDelivering both internal and external updates to our po rtfolioAssist in defining and delivering the Go to Market (GTM) s trategyEngage in key accounts, develop credibility and help build out technical so lutionsStay current on technical solutions and engaging with v endors.Create in-depth technical design documentation and corresponding documents: technical presentation and Bill of Mat erials.Attend Customer opportunity / strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for the company and c ustomerProvide design qualifications or opportunities and produce technical architecture/design docume ntationAct as Design Authority for nominated key a ccountsWork as technical designer on enterprise scale, mission-critical customer p rojectsWork with peers to advise and recommend on future technology and s ervicesMaintain high level of industry awareness through training and self-deve lopmentEngage in, and manage Customer demonstrations and Proofs of ConceptDevelopment of service of feringsEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values The Solution Architect is also involved in the pre-sales phases of our opport unities:Analyze customer requirements and develop a fitting solution based on our proactive vendor p ortfolioParticipate in customer meetings to qualify and quantify potential opportunities and custom er needsCreate the supporting technical collateral for our sales oppor tunitiesIdentify cross- and upsell oppor tunitiesProvide input to the Solutions Sales teams to optimize customer budgets while keeping an eye on overall deal profitability (aim for win-win sit uations) The Solution Architect is also involved in the post-sales tracks, by demonstrating the following responsi bilities:Being the glue between our sales teams and the technical deliv ery teamsLeading the handover process from the sales organization to the PS operations and PMO org anizationKeeping technical ownership of our solution delivery and implementation, ensuring agreements are being met on the techni cal levelProviding a technical escalation point for our customers and consulta nts alikeConducting quality assurance throughout the solution implementation up until project sign-off and handover to the customer operatio nal teams What You’ll Need For a solution to work effectively, scale, and meet the set requirements, it needs to have a well-thought-out architecture that accounts for numerous technical and business nuances. The long-term success of any project relies on the input from a Solution Architect, therefore yo u will need: At least 7 years of extensive experience with expert level technical knowledge in the network and/or se curity domainThe ability to identify and develop differentiated solutions involving multiple technologie s and vendorsAs a Solution Architect in the Networking area, you have expertise in some of the following areas: Datacenter networking, Campus networking, Network Firewalls, Network Access Control, Software Defined WAN, Network Load Balancing, Automat ion SolutionsAdditionally/ideally, you have a good understanding of surrounding technologies in the wider IT space. (compute and storage, unified communications, applications, back en d systems, …)Strong commercial acumen – able to protect and maximize Computacenter’s bus iness outcomeGood writing competency with demonstrable ability to provide valuable input into technical and commerc ial documentsGood customer relati onship skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to both technical and commerc ial audiencesBusiness analysis and project mana gement skillsFluency in Dutch and Englis h is required What Can You Expect We strongly believe in rewarding & recognizing people for their results & commitment.
